What is Yomassage®?

Yomassage is the newest and most innovative massage modality that combines the benefits of restorative stretch, mindfulness, and massage therapy. Yomassage can be practiced 1-1, with couples, or with small groups of up to 5.

With the opportunity to get in on the ground floor, you will be able to join practitioners in 46/50 US states, 4 countries, and 5-star resorts and clubs like Four Seasons Lanai, Nemacolin Woodlands Resorts, and The Jonathan Club.

Yomassage was founded in 2018, and since then, we have been growing like wildfire with our features on the cover of ABMP magazine, Massage Business Blueprint, Well+Good, Thrive Global, and much more!

Our main objective is to create a strong and supportive community of Yomassage therapists all around the globe who are working to make therapeutic touch a regular part of everyone’s self-care routine.

We provide ample support for you after the training including hosting regular live Q&As and tips in our private Facebook group, marketing materials, monthly themes and sequences, royalty free music, free continuing education, listing your classes on the Yomassage website, individual support, wholesale discounts, and so much more!

What is the Virtual Yomassage Training like?

The Virtual Yomassage Therapist Training is an intensive 25-hour certification program that is 100% remote. Over 3 weeks, you will immerse yourself in the Yomassage philosophy, learn about the nervous system, the mind-body connection, the fascial system, mindfulness, the benefits of touch, trauma-informed bodywork, learn how to structure classes, understand body mechanics, encourage self-massage techniques, utilize Yomassage positions, and incorporate modifications, adjustments, and contraindications. Upon completion of the training, you will have a deep understanding of the Yomassage practice, a variety of sample sequences and resources, and the freedom to incorporate your healing modality with the Yomassage class structure.

Virtual Yomassage training includes 3 live Q&A sessions, 1-1 feedback from your instructor, and peer to peer discussions. Don’t worry if you’re not the most tech-savvy. Our online training platform is easy to use and we offer ample support for our students. The platform can be accessed on computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Students can gain up to 25 CEU’s, dependent on state requirements. 10.5 CEU’s are approved by NCBTMB. 25 CEU’s are approved by Yoga Alliance.

What are the requirements to take the training?

● Must be a licensed massage therapist, physical therapist, occupational therapist, or chiropractor, or a student in one of these programs. Not a massage therapist? Check out the Mindful Touch™ by Yomassage® training.

● 1 full set of Yomassage props: 2 yoga bolsters, 2 yoga blankets, 2 blocks, a mat, and a set of Yomassage balls (links and discounts provided after registration)

● Tablet or computer

● Reliable internet connection

● Phone, tablet, or computer capable of recording sound and video

● 8-10 hours a week during the course for practice and coursework

What can I look forward to after the training?

After the training, you will have the opportunity to build your Yomassage offerings with new specialties like Energetic Yomassage (free training to members), Intro to Trauma-Informed Bodywork (free training to members), Advanced Trauma-Informed Bodywork, Yomassage Self-Care, Mindful Touch by Yomassage, Chair Yomassage, and more!

You will also join the Yomassage community on Facebook and have access to weekly live Q&As from the founders and master trainers, extensive support and career advancement opportunities, and so much more from the member’s portal!

How do I sign up?

All you need to reserve your spot in the training is to put down a $199 deposit. This deposit is non-refundable, but will apply to any training in the next 365 days if you need to transfer for any reason. The remaining balance of $500 is due 45 days prior to your training.
